The vessel Jade-S is owned and run by Captain Leyton Hunnisett and First Mate Gabby Mason, partners in life and business. Born and raised in Jersey we’re passionate about local seafood and the delights our waters have to offer.
Our ethos: support local fishermen, provide the highest quality and sustainably sourced local seafood from wetfish to shellfish.

Captain & Co-founder
Leyton has been fishing since his teens. He took a short break to complete his Ocean Masters and work as a Captain in the super yacht industry but the call of home and fishing was too great and he returned home to pursue his fishing career. The fishing industry is in his blood tracing back to ancestors in 1806 who worked as fishermen and fishmongers!

From professional geologist to civil servant to fisher! Gabby is not one for desks!
Growing up on and in the water with her family the sea has always been a significant! In fact her first word was even FISH. At the age of 7 she wanted to be a fishmonger and it seems today she’s chasing those childhood dreams!

Isabelle is the latest addition to the Jade-S team and arguably has the hardest job of us all! Ever wondered where all our fresh, delicious, crab meat comes from!? With over 15 years of experience, Izzy is our crab picking machine and we’re overjoyed to have her on the team!
